Victoria Woolhead

After graduating from Central Saint Martins College of Art, I worked as a photographer and other creative industries for many years. But I found myself looking inwards and searching for meaning, wellbeing and healing to resolve personal issues and deal with life’s adversities. There are many paths to wellness, and a holistic approach worked for me in such a profound way that it changed my life. Subsequently, I developed a passion for learning and training in several therapies, so as to be of service to others.

This approach can be as simple as a loving maintenance of one's body and soul, like you would receive at a spa. Or it has the potential to go deeper and healing deeper trauma and wounds. It works well when combined with talking therapies, but can also work for some as an alternative healing hence the term body therapy.

Training

Victoria Woolhead’s training at Osheanic in 2015 took her through O.P.H learnings by Rita Upadhi Maggi and the healing practise of Ayurvedic massage. Also, she embarked on further training in meditation practices, led by internationally renowned retreat leaders of advanced spiritual practice.  Meditation training employs a spectrum of different techniques which tailored to individual needs and situations. This harnessed a process of development and inner transformation, teaching her how to release the manifestations of life events and traumas. Training that facilitates a more fulsome quality of life by reducing symptoms of depression, anxiety, and physical pain.
